Maureen & Jim were married in Geneva on June 11th, at the St. Peter Church - it was a lovely ceremony, but what made it truly special was the fact that not only were the couple combining their lives, they were creating a family - and a rather large one! The bride and groom each have 4 kids all around the same age (in their early 20's), which makes for an awesome 10 person family and a ready made bridal party! I have to say every detail of this wedding was more beautiful than the next - from Maureen's home to their children to their church to the gorgeous details that she planned herself. I was super excited the whole day because it was so easy for me to get wonderful images :)
I am so happy we got to be a part of your special day! Here are some of my favorites:
Jim & the boys were getting ready at the Herrington, one of my favorite venues!
A quick stop at the Japanese Garden at Fabyan Forest Preserve was totally worth it! The girls rocked it:
and the whole fam:
and a few of just M&J:
Yet another awesome Geneva venue, Riverside Receptions, hosted the party:
Props to Maureen for all the sweet details - she planned everything herself! I love her taste. She loves black and white, and even chose to have
our "faux-to" booth images to print in black and white for her guest book!
A splash of red to give a little extra pop:
Thanks to the guests who gave me this ring shot idea (this was their guest book entry)!
