I know I've said this before (and about the same people, in fact), but when I get to photograph weddings that were referred to me by former brides, I have an instant emotional connection with them. I get so excited and so nostalgic and look forward to seeing my former clients again (in this case, Katie & Michael, one of my all time favorites <3)! I also love to see how different the weddings are, in this case, instead of an amazing farm wedding, I had an equally beautiful and mind blowing city wedding! Although Kate and Patrick are beautiful people, they have an appreciation for visual art and architecture, which the Chicago Cultural Center has an abundance of! I am so proud they chose me to photograph their wedding from an emotional standpoint, but also an artistic one. I really enjoyed capturing their day and every moment, every detail and every part of their love. <3
